Holes Closed for Course Maintenance

Following on from the work that was done on the 8th hole last year, we are having contractors on site on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th January to start clearing the plantations on the 3rd and 7th holes.  They will start by the 3rd Tee, then move down the fairway cutting down all of the plantations on the 3rd hole.  They will then remove the one on the left hand side of the 7th fairway and then finally the one between the 7th and 8th holes.

Whilst the contractors are on site, the 3rd and 7th holes will either be closed, hole shortened or a Temporay Green will be in play and any green fees will be adjusted accordingly.  We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Once this work has been completed, these areas will be classed as Ground Under Repair.  We are looking at adding soil and grass seed to some of the smaller areas to get them back into play as soon as possible.  The areas by the 3rd tee, 3rd & 7th fairways will be left as GUR until another contractor is able to come and shape them and create new fairway bunkers on the 3rd and 7th holes, much like the one on the 8th hole.  Unfortunately, this contractor is not available till August.

We hope to have them back in full play on Wednesday 21st January.
